Guvera | Fradio

Unfortunately Guvera is now defunct, but in 2015, this Australian music streaming startup was a bold contender among global services like Spotify, Apple Music and Google Play, expanding its operations worldwide.

As Content Lead for the Americas, I was given the thrilling opportunity to help launch the Guvera music streaming platform and build its digital content offerings in the region. I was responsible for content strategy, content creation, developing branded digital channels for advertising partners, and managing a wide variety of promotional strategies for international recording artists, record labels, publishers, and distributors.

The most exciting Guvera project I got to work on was Fradio. This innovative mobile app allowed any user to become an online radio DJ by broadcasting their favorite music in real time, and even doing radio presenter voice-overs with the push of a button.

During the Fradio “80/80” (80 artists in 80 days) global launch campaign, I was in charge of recruiting participating U.S. artists and curating specialized content for sponsored Fradio broadcasts that would help drive the acquisition of new app users among discerning music fans.
